Your Guide to Agriculture in Kentucky

Kentucky Food and Farm Files is a collaborative effort of Kentucky's farming community to grow knowledge about the impact agriculture has on the lives of our citizens. This educational web site provides food and farm facts, farmer stories, agriculture career profiles, and hot topics surrounding Kentucky agriculture. We will be adding new information regularly; KyFoodandFarm.info is THE source for students and teachers to learn about agriculture across the commonwealth.

We represent a diverse farming community and recognize that ALL farmers, regardless of their chosen farming methods, are working to produce the safest, most environmentally responsible and economically sustainable food they can. We realize that there are many strong opinions about how food should be produced. Since our number one goal is education, we will focus on facts and information approved by our partners. Page sponsors and sources will be listed throughout. Farmers featured on our site will be able to express their opinions about why they produce food the way they choose. Other editorials will be found on our blog and tagged as such.
